In 1757 the first Stations of the Cross were erected along the footpath to Grad. When the parish priest Janez Elersič had a new route built, the Stations of the Cross were placed along it. After the devastation of World War I only the sixth station survived. Lojze Čemažar created a fresco of Sts. Cyril and Methodius in it. The current smaller chapels were built according to Ivan Vurnik's plans, and the images were created by Lojze Čemažar in 1985.
